About

UTVUse The Village
Hi, I’m Kelly

Teacher-created resources for real learning days.

I’m a former K–2 public and private school teacher, a homeschooling mom, and the creator behind Use The Village and Pocket Phonograms.

Why Use The Village exists

Teaching asks a lot of us. The right resource should make the day clearer, more engaging, and a little less overwhelming—not add another complicated system to manage.

I create practical educational resources that are visually inviting, easy to use, and flexible enough for classrooms, tutoring, and home learning. From collaborative posters and biographies to language resources and phonics practice, everything starts with the same question: Will this genuinely help a learner and the adult teaching them?

What guides the work

Useful first

Resources should save preparation time and feel straightforward from the first page.

Learning can be beautiful

Thoughtful visuals help learners feel curious, capable, and ready to participate.

Every village looks different

Teachers, parents, tutors, and homeschoolers all deserve tools that fit their setting.

“Good resources create more room for the part that matters most: connecting with learners.”

From printable resources to Pocket Phonograms

Use The Village began with classroom resources and continues to grow with language-specific collections, seasonal learning, and digital tools. Pocket Phonograms brings that same practical approach to phonics: clear visual cards, audio support, search, and focused practice in an easy-to-carry app.

Let’s make teaching feel a little lighter.
