Bring your class together to create a Rosa Parks poster for Black History Month in February or Women’s History Month in March. Each student colors a piece, and the pieces come together to make one large display.
What’s included
- 25 individual coloring sheets that form one Rosa Parks quote poster
- A finished poster measuring 42.5 x 55 inches
- Pages numbered 1–25 in a top or bottom left corner to help with assembly
Print on standard 8.5 x 11-inch letter paper, give each student one or two sheets, and bring out the crayons, markers, or paint. Assemble the colored pages together for a classroom wall or bulletin board.
You can use this project across grade levels, offering help with coloring and assembly as needed. Before hanging the poster, talk about Rosa Parks and invite students to notice how everyone’s piece contributes to the whole.
