Keep Cool Summer Countdown Collaborative Poster

Give your class a project they can put together, piece by piece.

Count down to summer with a collaborative classroom poster that reads “Keep Cool, Summer Is Almost Here!” Students color individual pieces, then assemble a large ice-cream-themed bulletin board display.

• 25 numbered poster pieces that form one large poster.
• 31 interchangeable number pages, from 30 through 0.
• 56 printable PDF pages in total.
• Finished poster measures approximately 55 × 42.5 inches when printed at full size.

Print on letter-size paper, color the pieces, and arrange them using the page numbers. Change the countdown number as the last day of school approaches. This resource is suitable for kindergarten through ninth grade, classroom teamwork, early finishers, and end-of-year bulletin boards.

Set out the pieces for students to color, then bring the class together for the assembly. Before you hang the finished poster, take a moment to notice how everyone’s work fits into the larger picture.
