Create a Black History Month display with six portrait posters featuring Booker T. Washington, Sojourner Truth, Charles Drew, Marian Anderson, James Baldwin, and Katherine Johnson.
Each portrait is paired with an inspiring action word. Display this Set 2 collection on a classroom bulletin board or rotate the posters during lessons and discussions about influential figures. Students can also choose a word that inspires them and create their own portrait activity.
You’ll receive six printable PDF pages. This resource is suitable for grades 1–12 and higher education.
Choose a place where students can easily see the display, then introduce it together. Refer back to it during lessons or classroom routines so it becomes something you use.
